Designing at Scale Visual Identity & Brand Communication for Iran's Largest Hypermarket

Hyperstar is Iran’s largest hypermarket chain, operating as a joint venture with the French retail giant Carrefour, offering a wide range of products across grocery, electronics, apparel, and home goods. With multiple large-scale locations across the country, Hyperstar set a new standard for modern retail experience in Iran, serving millions of customers and housing numerous international and local brands under one roof.

Social Media Visual Identity

As part of the social media team at Hyperstar, the designer was responsible for creating daily Instagram posts and stories covering a variety of topics and campaigns. A significant portion of this content was educational in nature — to streamline production and maintain visual consistency, a dedicated template system was developed for this content category, resulting in a faster workflow and a higher output of published content.

Promotional Campaigns

Another key responsibility was designing seasonal promotional campaigns to advertise in-store product discounts. For each season and special occasion, a unique visual theme was crafted to effectively promote products and drive customer engagement — ensuring that every campaign felt fresh, relevant, and aligned with the spirit of the moment.

Black Friday Campaign

One of the most notable projects during this period was the Black Friday campaign, a nationwide initiative rolled out across all Hyperstar and Carrefour branches. The designer handled both the digital and print sides of the campaign, producing a range of materials, including posters and in-store advertisements, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual presence throughout every touchpoint of the campaign.
