My main academic specialization and the primary focus of my professional career in recent years has been Graphic Design. However, video editing is not separate from graphic work. Due to high demand in the field of video editing, I decided to learn tools like Premiere and CapCut so that I could handle my own simple video editing projects. I certainly do not consider myself an expert in this field, but I have always aimed to be able to meet my own needs in any area and possess at least a minimum level of knowledge in every discipline. The portfolio pieces you see below are my video editing works from 2019 to the present.
Roseva
Roseva was active in the car rental industry in Dubai, and the company contacted me through an advertising agency. This video was broadcast during the Bahareh Concert Tour in Dubai. The critical point regarding the editing of this video was the extremely short timeline I had to complete the final edit.
Femecide
Femicide is one of the projects that I am proud to have undertaken in my career. This project was offered to me by an NGO active in the field of women’s rights, and I accepted it with great pleasure. The scenario for this video was about sharing the experiences of women worldwide who have been victims of femicide. Without a doubt, this project has been one of the best projects of my professional life.
Damac
DAMAC is one of the world’s largest construction brands. They approached the Shimo Agency to advertise some of their properties in Dubai, and the task of video editing for this collection was assigned to me.
This video required not only cuts and sound design but also motion graphics and text-based graphics. My biggest challenge on this project was maintaining consistency with the overall corporate visual identity, which I was partially successful in achieving.
These videos were broadcast across various platforms, and this specific teaser was designed for television broadcast.
